Ek2 original or high end repro?

Bought from a deceased estate a few days ago. Main concern is the back number 3 overlapping with the frame and no clear identification of soldering lines around the frame as if it has been smoothed over. Sorry about the poor quality in the last 2 images - camera doesn't seem capable of capturing the closer details, but it shows enough to see the smoothing over. It also weighs roughly the same as my other ek2's.

Looks okay to me, maybe an unmarked S & L?

Unless it was nighttime, or the weather was bad, and you were running out of gas - then it was a sweaty nightmare, like a monkey f*ing a skunk.

Strange ... The frame looks like it just came out of the "factory", but the core (especially reverse) looks like a lay of the year in the ground ...

How does that happen? Would it mean the frame has been polished in some way?

Does the frame ever overlap with the numbers like this one does with the 3?

And did a firm ever smooth over the soldering lines on the sides of the frames?

Agree with Daniel on this one .
looks like frame was cleaned . Yes - Max .. a number the date same times gets slightly covered by the frame .
