Near Mint Schinkel with HUGE Jump Ring (same as ribbon ring) - Opinions Please

This piece has been in my collection a long time, now was considering selling. Not the biggest collector of Schinkels, but don't recall seeing one with a jump ring this huge. It looks like the same material used to make the ribbon ring.

Is this rare? There is a photo standard EK2 in front and the Schinkel is behind and it still dwarfs the standard EK2 ring in size and thickness.

    Thanks in advance.

      Hello Jeff
it's an original Meybauer EKII, Schinkelform. Not so common but not hard to find by the way.
As far as I remember normally the ring has just one side solder. A nice one

Hi Fabri - Thank you. I have never seen a jump ring as thick as the suspension ring.

Since I already started this thread, thought I would now show the last Schinkel I have in the collection, it's on a single parade mount. A friend had also expressed interest in purchasing this example as well.

You're welcome. The last one is a Schinkelform by Deumer, I think the most common of this type.
Core can be iron or zinc made. In my opinion a lovely example when mounted in single bar.
