    Checking a Klein '134'.

I had originally thought that this was a Silver Otto Klein '134', which was thought to not exist, but I was wrong. Looking along the outside edge of the wreath, you can see remnants of the gold finish. Wishful thinking, huh??!
So, I took it down to the SOS last Feb./Mar. and lo and behold, opinion is divided on it being a good '134'. Some of the big guns say, "Good!". Some of the big guns say "No good!" I finally got a chance to getting around to taking beaucoup pics so that I could bring it on here and show it.
Please feel free to have at it. I compared it to a couple of other 134's on the WAF and it looks textbook to me. The rivets are done in the same manner.
    Thanx,
    Tim

PS-I might also mention that no one had ever questioned or ever mentioned it not being a good DK in the past couple of threads that I ever posted on this cross in particular.

Oops! Forgot to mention in the header that it was a DK.

I took several pictures of the hinged area which, I should have mentioned, seemed to be the point of contention by the two people that didn't like it. More then one person was doubtful about it being a bad one and they expressed opinions about it having been left in a damp, musty area, which may have caused the gold wash to come off and caused the crusting or whatever you wish to call it in the area of the hinge and catch.
One 'knowledgeable authority' had no problem with it at all, but seeing as how I didn't give it to him to study in detail and get a COA for said item, I would rather not name him. I feel it's just a courteous thing to do.
I was going to put it on the E-Stand, so if all or a vast majority of opinions support it being a good Klein, I will feel that much better posting it there.
