Plateau round 3 in package

Found this "plateau" round 3 in a Deschler package. Is it possible they have a link or was the set put together for sure?

Nice plateaued/pedestaled R3 ... I one also .
Hard to say if that is the original packet to the cross or not ? This type only seams to have the open fat jump and open small ribbon ring .... not sure why .

In my opinion the "plateau version" of the R3 is just a "thick version" with a different core finish. I believe the frame is the same so a link to Deschler is 100% possible. Read through this thread, which discusses Deschler's role in making the Round-3 -- make sure to read til the end.
