    Lots of minis!

    Hi Guys

    Please could I get some thoughts on these, I think most if not all are ok but never hurts to check

    2 very nice mini ek2 spanges- left example appears to be a 1st pattern Boerger and co, right hand is hollow in silvered brass with thin split pin

    both the spanges are the same design- on the left the clasp has been attached at a later date

      the 2 larger pieces are marked L/16, one has the stickpin removed and replaced with tabs

        Spanish crosses in zinc, all same design- gold has faded away on that one

          Eks- the sticpins are the same and marked L/16

            a few more, the top ones are all enammelled, middle 2 have raised L/11 mark which I haven't seen before,

            apologies some of the pics aren't great

                  Patrick, the 16mm stickpin on #2 is IMO a cast fake, never ever seen one and don't believe I'll ever will.

                  The two 9mm stickpins with raised L/11 are also IMO produced recently.

                              Some excellent minis I particularly like your 1st pattern Knopfloch, this is my one which is the one shown in "The Iron Time, a history of the iron cross" by Stephen Thomas Previtera on page 214. and also in the Book "The Iron Cross of 1939" By Gordon Williamson on Page 104. Really love that mini EK 2 on ribbon, incredible detail on the Spanish crosses.
