Not too sure what/where you mean but t all looks nicely finished. Only thing I noticed is the solder that holds the ring...seems to be a little too much...

My "40" also has this "extra" material near the ring. Strange maker I must admit. Different than all other ek2's in my collection.

Yep, mine rattles!!!!! The whole feel of the cross seems lighter.
