Late war, field made or all out fake Kvk 2nd class

Hi guys,
I've hade this kvk 2nd class for years, bought it in a lot years ago and finally got around to asking about it, it's a real loser, it is silver in color, it is not a lead base metal, it will not bend, it looks cast, you can see the flaws on right arm and sword, funny thing is the ring, it's turned in the wrong direction. could this be a field made piece? other than the flaw, it looks like a well made piece, has anyone seen field made pieces? the ribbon on it does not glow and it is sewn together at top.

In any case it looks like they tryed to make a RK out of it. I think its made of zink.

Hi Peter,
I believe your right, zink or Aluminium, it still has a nice silver finish? it's different for sure. I did see a KvK 1st class on WW-2 militaria.comthat looks a lot like it.

Sure looks like a lot of excess material on the side's of the handles, and the stippling seems to be either rubbed away or was never there in spots
