Oakleaf and Swords device with diamonds

First let me say that I am looking for information about this piece, and I have searched everywhere I can think of (or stumble onto) on the web and etc. and have found nothing.

I do not want "it's fake"; "a repro"; "junk"; or any similar quick comment, because I do not believe or even hope that it is an issued piece; however, it exists and therefore was made at sometime by someone. I don't mean to start an argument or be a smart-ass; I just would like very much to be able to find out about it. Also it is not totally worthless, assuming what the jeweler I had it to is correct. He said it is silver and the diamonds are real.....although not real high quality.

I want to thank any of you who be able and willing to supply me with information about it. Because of my stroke and memory loss, I cannot remember when, where and how I got it......and therefore there is no accompanying story with it. Also, these are the only photos I have of it at present, and I cannot take anymore or give any other info about it because, due to the work being done and all the various workers I have had moving stuff around to work, I have no idea where it is at the present. It is entirely possible that it might not even still be here, because I am pretty sure some things "walked away" with at least one of the workers......although I can't prove it.

    Thanks,
    Ron

    Hi Ron,

Isn't it the worst to lose a piece from your collection? I sympathize and I hope you find this set, even if it's not "the real deal."

Anyway, there are a few small differences, but your set is the same type as this one:

    oaks, swords and diamonds

That thread gives a lot of information.
    Best regards,
    Streptile

Thank you streptile. Yes....I hate to have anything lost, or worse in some ways, stolen. I also don't like liars, or maybe worse.....smart-asses....as you might be able to tell ; however, I do like it when people just give a straight response like you....it also often made it much harder to "cross examine" them and make them look bad in front of the jury!

I suppose that it is not known who made them since the other thread didn't say, and, of course, I don't think Wal-Mart did.

      Thanks again,
      Ron

Hello Ron ! Here is a little info. I first saw either this very one or one like it in the early 1980's. And Over the years I have seen maybe 2 more. Tom

Thanks Tom, I wish I had a memory of it........but I don't. I didn't pick up very much after the late 70s when I more or less quit the hobby, and sold most of my stuff by the mid-80s. Since then I have only picked up a couple of things, including one EK2 at a local flea market for $20 marked 13......which I gave to my son.
