DKiG by Godet.

Hi guys, here's a Battle Hardened DKiG by Godet in rough shape. Has the usual six rivets and 21 markings. Looks like someone tried to patch up the Swaz's enamel by painting and/or filling it in with black paint. Any comment and opinions greatly appreciated.

Hey Guys, can I get some honest opinions to verify originality?
I know its a little hard on the eyes but my friend wants a few more viewpoints besides mine on its being a wartime produced Godet DKiG.

hmmmm....

From these pics, I would say it's good.
It's definitely has seen better days.
Although as you said the cross and the date
look like they have been colored in.
