        Strange needle and hinge.

Like to hear the real experts.

It is different than the reference, and that is why I've asked for thoses in the know to assist. Thank you.

It has the mark for Deschler but I have not seen one with that EXACT catch or pin.
The catch looks like those of a post War period S&L.

I’d think by the front it’s ok but from the back, I'd submit that there had been repairs made or that the assembly date occurred post war with some /all original parts…

The pin being the worst part (seek some experts advice – none the less).

I like it, it's different from the book writers version but it looks good to me. Ralph

Thank you. It can be certified by the author of the reference on these, if need be.

Has the Deschler wreath indicators which collectors well know, as well as the red portion that is more prominent and is seen with this companies DKiG's.

Yep a strange but nice looking german cross.
Don't know what to think of the hardware.
Looking forward hearing some more opinions.
                      You priced the dk accordingly

Nice Cupal Deschler but I lean towards a pin replacement due to it's unusual shape overlength hinge pin.

                        Regards
