    EK day!!

    Hi all,
    I bought this little lot this morning,to those that are interested it includes the makers 3,4,24,65,100(x2) and a 113..the rest are unmarked.Also I got a couple of Imperials as well 2nd and 1st class.

      reverse...inside it contained a full length piece of EK2 ribbon in mint condition!

          I also bought this LDO case stamped L/52,no cross though......on the undersurface of the insert it is embossed 621.K.B.

          I need the LDO guarantee card and a nice L number Zimmermann to go into it and then I will be a happy bunny!

              What's the 1914 EK1 like? Is it a W-S or is it the type with a 'Y' on the underside of the pin?

                Hi Eric,

                I will take some photos of the 1914 EK1 and post them in the Imperial forum(it will have to be tomorrow as the light is going here)the cross is marked S.W on the outer surface of the pin and has a 7 stamped under the pin near the hinge.
