This cross may have the later L/12 frame as seen in this L/12-marked EKI. The core is 1st pattern Juncker in both.

Yes, I considered the Schinkel frame, but abandoned the idea because of the lack of die flaws outside of the inner corners. But, perhaps you're correct in your thinking. The lighting in the photo in post #1 is so bright it is hard to make out the beading pattern.

To be quite honest I'm not certain what it is. I've been looking at it for weeks on the website and didn't know what to think of the frame, although I believe the core is Juncker.

Do you have a photo of the small Juncker frame?

I just found that thread as you posted it. This is the first I have heard and seen of this frame, but it is surely the correct frame as seen in post #1. When did this frame get discovered?

                          Robert

Edit: And, where does it fit chronologically in Juncker's evolution of frames?

                              Thank you Sanya,

I feel out of the loop not knowing anything about this frame type.

I looked in the EKII data base that Trevor posted and found that it was known of in 2011.

I know you must have bought this beauty. Congratulations. It's a wonderful example!
