Early '57 EKI by Deumer...

I just received this exceptional early '57 Deumer EKI. This cross has a Deumer frame and B.H. Mayer's last wartime pinset. Possibly a first pattern '57 cross.

Very nice Deumer, with the rarer variant catch, but it is 100% Deumer, including the pin!!!!!!! Any similarity to Mayer hardware is coincidental IMO!!

Aren´t very early pieces marked L/11 in closed box?

A lot of them are Miro, but some weren't, the L/11 mark used postwar by Deumer is different to that used wartime, very few 57 Deumer EK1's actually used a leftover wartime marked backplate, contrary to what used to be believed!
@Robert, it might be a good idea to ask to have this thread moved to the 57 section, I think its the best place for it?
