Is it may be a post war Souval with standard detached ring (at the rear)? The cut out of the frame is not the best, a Friday afternoon job perhaps. -

Interesting. It does not appear to be a post war Souval to me. Post war perhaps but not by Souval.
Would you (Tony and JOhnny) be kind enough to educate me why you feel it's Souval? I have been out of the EK field for some time now and could use a refresher.

It's definitely a postwar piece and it's been called a Souval since I first heard about it but honestly, I'm not sure why either. I think it's been seen with a Souval core.
Whoever made it, it's not a wartime piece.Best regards,

It appears to have the same beading joins in the corners of each arm and the same numbers. I was very interested to learn that Souval used different frames as I was only familiar with the "claws in the corners" frames.Comment
