I believe they are also. The B14-cored crosses like the 'S-W' (EKI and EKII), and the B14-cored 'Z' EKII all had cast cores (the crosses I have found to this point in time).

Kokstok: When looking at the line up these are sequence of issued crosses . I assume that was his intention ? 57 and war time made Imperial cored crosses are 'replacements' only .

That would make sense. It would be great to able to do a "maker produced" sequence showing the development of all the cross made by a company such as S&L, but I don't think any one company ever made the complete set from 1813 to the 57er era.

Robert, that's such an impressive line up. I reckon you could buy a very nice RK for that lot. Shows why collecting EKIIs is still a fun sport.

That is an amazing picture, and I also really like the EK II shown in it

I saw the 1870 EK II with oaks for sale on the E-stand, and thought "year, now I can get one also "
But then I realized that the seller lives outside the EU. This would mean that the price would go up another 30% or so, because of the Danish import tax. Even the shipping cost is added, when they calculate the value of the packet

Flemming that sucks about the tax. They are thinking of introducing it here in Australia. I'm glad my collecting is all but done. I couldn't hope to afford the import duty.

I do hope for you, and others ofc, that they wont do that.
That tax has to be paid on books also. So when I buy the books we all like, they cost quit a bit more also.

That is a risk, but I don't buy expensive items anymore.

21% VAT, 6% import tax and 15 Euro "handling".

EU-blessings, 75% of the total amoumt goes straight to the Brussels money-pit

Almost the same numbers in Denmark:
Custom Duty is 12%
VAT is 25%
An import fee wich is about 21Euro

So for the EK II (+ a realy nice mini EK II) I was looking at it would be

(660Euro + shipping cost) * 1,12

Then the VAT which is:
((6660Euro + shipping cost) * 1,12)*1,25 and to this summ you will put the import fee at around 21 Euro

I just calculated the what the total circa would be, and put the shiping at 10 Euro...959 Euro, would be the total after Custom Duty, VAT and imoirt fee...what a shame, as the EK II + mini is really having a good Price.
I really think it is a shame, that so many nice Things don't switch hands...be it cars, bicycle, stanps, medals and what not.
But such greedy rules detrouys many Things.

An RK for 10K+ just has never made sense to me. I would love to own one, yes, but not for the price they're asking for one.
