Any help will be greatly appreciated as to which badges in the War Merrit Cross series, inclusive of the Knights Cross of the War Merrit Cross (with & without swords), did the wartime firm of C.E. Junker produce?

Looking through the pinned KVKI list on this cross forum I see that Juncker is not listed as a maker of the KVKI w/o swords, but in Gordon Williamson's book 'The War Merit Cross' there is an example with a '2' stamped on the pin. I don't know whether to say for sure that Juncker made a KVKI w/o swords so I better not put a period following that statement. They did if fact make a KVKI w/swords. This is true.
Regarding the KVKII with and w/o swords I see nothing mentioned anywhere that Juncker produced these.
...The same for the KC to the KVK, nothing.
I am not an expert in the field of makers of the various grades of the KVK so I'll leave this to others to point you further in the right direction...

I'm with Robert, L/12 KVK1 with swords is the only one but let's see what other members think.Comment

As far as I remember I've seen a KVK1 and a KVK1X marked L/12, but there was some question about whether the swords had simply been cut off to make the former. They also made a KVK1X in screwback.

Here's another Juncker EKI with exactly the same hardware as the L/12-marked KVKI I posted. I'm only showing this to solidify the fact that Juncker did actually make a KVKI with swords. No one is arguing that they didn't; I'm just merely wanting to use this for reference.

Now I don't know what to think of the example I used to own with the block hinge. Its mark looked legitimate. Who knows? Perhaps a variant by Juncker, maybe.
