          Just before this sinks to the bowells of WAF Have any of you EK gurus got an "8" Variant in you collection! Michal tells me that there was one found with a stamped "8" on the ring but the general consensous was that the mark was postwar and all other "8" varients were unmarked from an unknown maker!

            this is "8" variant, not 8 manufacturer Ferdinand Hoffstatter never produced ek2 just ek1
