    EK2 Clasp - recent acquisition

    Hi guys,

Here is a recent acquisition off of estand. I quite like how it has been designed to be removable from the tunic. Either a thrifty soldier OR thinking ahead to washing the garment. Not sure if the pins are wartime but they fit the part.

      Hi Adam,

I've seen a few Spangen set up just like that. For some reason most of them have been Junckers. But I guess it was a (somewhat) well-known system.
      Best regards,

Thanks for having a look and for your experiences with this set-up. Is this also a Juncker?

              You're welcome, Adam.

If you're lucky it might even have an L/16 mark on the reverse...

But don't bend the prongs, you don't want to break them !

I did have a bit of a peak just by lifting the ribbon but no markings unfortunately. And I would never touch these prongs! One of the reasons why I held out for a spange with ribbon already attached.

Nice one Trevor, I really love the look of the Juncker Spange

The S&L that started this thread is also a nice one indeed.

Thank you guys. Here it is on display.

Oberst Fichter was entitled to wear the EK2 repetition clasp as indicated by his EKI spange loops.

I am still seeking any of his paperwork if you guys see it on your travels.

Love the display! Very clean uniform. I have had many tunics on torso mounts in the past, and have one still today in the den. I found to get the belts up in the front and tight I had to add a little padding under the belt on the back side. Just an observation.

Flemming -> Thanks man. Photo isn't great unfortunately.
Robert -> Thanks to you also. I'm a uniform enthusiast mostly so I have quite a few forms and mannequins. And you are correct about the belts! I have this one padded at the back though it might have shifted for the photo shoot.
