    is this a good B.H. Mayer EK2? And how rare are these L/18 ones?

            Bottom line for me on this cross is that it's a postwar copy.

            However, if the cross in this thread (link) is a good one, then the EK2 we see here is good also, since it is simply the EK2 version of the same cross. And many, many experts believe the cross in the link is good (as well as this one, this one, this one, etc etc).

            So I would say that more people believe this cross is authentic than believe it's a fake. I am one of those who believes it is a fake.

              I cant bring some light into this discussion, the cross is just a flea market find, not from a good source or something.
              But it is made very well , I had no concern about its originality, when I had it in hand. Made from 3 pieces, iron core, good patina, good weight, and so on.

              But I had no lense with me...
