EK2 Special!

Hello everybody,
I received a EK but there is a litte problem with the 9 of 1939.
There are different.
No mark on the ring but magnetic.

What is the the problem with the nine according to you?

Looks like an original cross to me. Maybe a Fritz Zimmermann judging by the thick beading, but can't be sure without any pics of the back.
