The construction on the Cross conforms & looks good. I didn't come across any "mold seams". The hand-finishing on the edges of the Cross conform as well. I haven't come across that pin pattern though. It may be perfectly okay & that I've never picked-up this maker before.

If, I were into 'War Merit Crosses without Swords' I'd buy it!

What makes you think it's a reproduction?

It IS a fake. No doubt. The pin and makers mark are a instant give away.

I agree, seen a couple of these out there, but as far as a reproduction goes, its not too bad. Set ups a bit wrong for the maker.

I'm sure others will chime in with a bit info for you.
