If genuine as the seller stated anybody knows who was the maker?

I found it for 70euro inclusive of its original ribbon...

I just made a quick search and 138's seem to be made by JULIUS MAURER - OBERSTEIN

Do you agree about this?

Hello Desertfarbe,

I think it's a genuine '138' as it looks to have many of the characteristics of crosses made by Julius Maurer - Oberstein.

I posted a thread on my recently acquired '138' cross just the other day and yours looks very similar to mine. Have a look at it and compare your cross.

I've pointed out some of the more obvious things to look out for on Julius Maurer crosses, I think I've got it right but ultimately I speak with no great authority as I'm just an enthusiastic beginner in collecting EKIIs.
