    Junckers Ritterkreuz, price ?

What do you think would be a reasonable price for this medal?

    Thanks for your help

These exact copies (with case and carton) were selling for approx €45 (shipping included) on ioffer recently. That's what I paid for the one I had. However, they have been selling for at least twice that much (and sometimes more) on the estand lately.

Here it is (without the case and carton) for €20.95 with free shipping.

And here's a recent thread discussing the same crosses:

Absolutely no question about it. 100% fake.
They look nothing like a genuine Juncker.

Is someone selling it as a genuine piece?
        And if so, who?

Yes, it is a modern fake/repro.

I'm sure you could get $300 or so on the bazaar. Some people spend crazy amounts for decent reproductions like these. All in the eye of the beholder I suppose. Doesn't really matter what most people think its worth, its what that one person will spend that matters,

A reproduction piece indeed, I have a similar one which is heading to e-stand Bazaar soon.

I've also got one, 30GBP including case, carton and shipping from China where they were made, Quite a pleasant space filler but in no way genuine. The prices being asked for these on selling web-sites is IMHO over the top

They are not exact copies so are easy to spot. The frame flanges are twice as thick as they should be and the core doesn't sit out enough, nor does the beading sit high enough on the. I've spent many hours with two of these, bought for the prices mentioned here, filing away at the outside of the flanges and getting them into better shape, much thinner etc, but the dimensions are still not perfect. This is why I'd still like to get a Souval as a real filler. The ones I have are nice fillers for me, and I've made it so that no one will ever be fooled by them. I've treated them as 1:1 models a bit like my 1:35 scale models.

I've seen people buying and selling these for way more than they're worth. Don't pay anything more than $50 for the whole deal and $30 for the cross.
