Another reason why the first one that started this thread cannot be Juncker: the Junckers have the 1 "hovering" over the ground, the spange in question does not.

L/12 from the collection of "arbeitsdienst":

        Hello Frank,

Thanks for all the help. Juncker certainly did not make the nicest looking Spangen did they?
        Best regards! Tom

Did you also check the end of page 1?

There are many things where Juncker is not the most nice maker. In fact, where are they the most nice maker?
          Cheers, Frank

Dear Biro, you are right, but I excluded this early product and looked only at their later, second model spangen.
Same goes for their flight badges IMO, early ones great but later ones absolutely overrated.
              Cheers, Frank

                Hello all,

I have an identical L/12 marked spange to that posted, with the asymetrical features. Mine came wrapped in its original tissue paper in a blue packet of issue marked Frank& Reif, Stuttgart-Zuffenhaufen. The ribbon is mint and was in the packet separate of the spange. I read in Gordon Williamson's book (page 482)about some mix-up in the L/12 usage between Juncker and Frank&Reif. I hope this helps the debate!

                  Dear Harry,

Gordon mentions a postwar letter written by Juncker mixing up L/12 with 12 (which was indeed Frank & Reif). This mixup was either a mistake or done deliberately (taking the contents of teh letter into account) but does not take away from the fact that L/12 was Juncker´s LDO code and 12 was Frank & reif Präsidialkanzlei number.
                  Cheers, Frank
