If not we have Mr. Shea using this identity ‘Bill Shea’ with 50 posts and ‘pln0226’ (a new member) with 6 posts. What, I wonder, does one need multiple identities for on a forum such as this?
I am sure he will come here and explain the group as well as the two accounts. Maybe he forgot the password or username for "Bill Shea" or whatever. After his explanation we can suspend one of the two.

I've been around for ten years and being a bit of a nitwit, I've forgotten mine a few times but it's only required a PM to a Mod to get the sign in info again.

It seems to me that one would have to enter a credit card and be charged for another membership to have a second (or multiples) identity established. I know I wouldn't pay for another membership just because I forgot a password but then… I'm not Bill.

        Blockade Breaker

The blockade breaker on his site doesn't give me a warm fuzzy feeling either. Nothing against the man or animosity towards his firm but I think it is post war also.

            Yes, that makes sense!

Maybe he can give Ludwig an explanation regarding the SS group?

lol guys.. If you can upload pictures with your posts, please do

Always helpful to have pictures of these items. Links go down quickly and this will be yet another useless thread in the future.

Yes indeed. Unfortunately that's a post-war Blockade Breaker, likely 1960's, in the S&L design (uploading the images). Another example of this type is discussed in this thread in the KM section:

I agree, postwar, but the badge is not for sale is it? Says out of stock, maybe that means it has been pulled already vs. sold or for sale.

I have no idea but want to clarify the listing unless status changed after this thread was opened.

I also don't think that's zinc (contrary to the description).

Agree, and the reverse looks like it was scratched to view the true base metal.

                            I'm with Jo on this.

I recall the SS TK (discussed in the SS Forum) that was priced into outer space and a fake that essentially got an "oops" and a "SH-- happens"

                            Yeah, okay...

Let's confine ourselves here to the discussion of the items, and not draw conclusions on the character of the vendor.

Discussion of originals and reproductions benefits the collector community, speculation on vendors' awareness does not.

                              Best regards,

I agree. I have done business with Bill and I have a colleague who has done a ton of business with him. He's honest and runs a stand up business. Reproductions can be tough to spot sometimes but, to my knowledge, Bill has always made the situation right. -Ger
