Opinions on a Spange

Greetings this spange came on a tunic and a great majority of the decorations that came from this collection had authenticity issues. I have my doubts but it does not hurt to learn more about this type of thing. Thanks in advance to all that reply!

The prongs are strong on this one and that is a good sign but I doubt if it will pull this one out.

I don't know about the spange but I think that ribbon
is a repro.

I black lighted the ribbon with a strong UV source and it does not glow. So if it is bad it is old bad.

If this is the same ribbon it is new bad. The right side as shown is whip-stitched, no good even though it doesn't glow...
