Merit Cross legit?

I got this cross with several other items that were real and fake.. So im hoping this is an original.. Opinions?

I'm not loving this one...too much slop on the edges, me thinks. Especially around the hilts/handles on the swords, as well as one of the sword tips appearing to have a length-wise crack in it. I've never seen an original this poorly made.

There are parts that look okay to me too...the date & the swaz, as well as the lug & ring. But dang...the rest is just sloppy.

maybe real late war, when the quality just wasn't there any more?

Looks alright to me as well. These zinc pieces were not the best made and not finished as you usually find the tombak ones.

Not the best looking of award once silver wash had gone.
But I think is still original.
