DKiS and other items for review

I know one can not say for sure until I get better pictures, but do you think these have a chance? I have always wanted a nice DK, so this might be my chance to get one.

Well that is good news. I thought they might be ok, but anytime I see fake magnets like a DKiS and an SS Tab, I start to get worried.

there are reasons to be worry indeed as some fakes are so close to originals.
I can not comment other badges just the SS collar looks no good to me.

Like said the DKiG has promise, but no one would buy any of them without closer pictures.

            Wary but..

If it is being sold in a grouping. I would ask myself why is a noticeable fake SS tab mixed in with the possible legit items, and photos provided to show little detail?

Apparently the seller received about 20 responses and is taking their time picking out the scumbags and low balling dealers. I offered them advice in waiting to find the right person for the items (it is part of a grouping that belonged to their family member), so hopefully it will find the right person. Good guys usually finish last, but hopefully my honesty will pay off one day.

The seller claimed to have everything checked out, and everything supposedly was good except the SS tab.

Maybe I'll hear back from them, but I'm not counting on it at this point. Someone with much deeper pockets will probably get it.

In case they are offered to me, what does this type of cross go for these days?

The thing that confuses me is the colour of the SS cap eagle. The only person who may have worn a gold one was Sepp D, but it was always to be silver. I'd just steer clear and be done with it.

They are American vet bring backs, who knows where it came from.

Would love to see better shots of the flak badge - never, ever seen one that looks like that, but it is kinda FAR away....

The hat eagle is not SS it is early SA and gold is correct and in assman catalog.

Please show us a photo. This shape is SS, introduced in 1936. The SA cap badges have straight wings as per the shape of the Heer breast eagle.

I am trying to get more images from the seller, while also trying to convince them not to brake up the grouping nor get scammed by an unscrupulous dealer. They are asking for advice on reasonable market values, but I'm afraid I am not of much help for most of it.

The price is already over my head but I am trying to educate the seller as best I can, and they are appreciative (which is almost as good as getting the medals )

                              Rubbish

It's a cast fake of a 36 onwards '2nd pattern' SS eagle. Gold is NOT correct, that is usually the mould release agent remaining on cast fakes.
