    EKII Spange - unmarked

Posted a worse picture a little while ago and hope these will help shed some more light. It's been suggested this another example of the disputed unmarked type. Opinions welcome! Furthermore, is the packet real? The previous owner bought it separately for the sake of the set (I'm sure the L/12 isn't correct), but did he buy a real one?

I'm no expert on envelopes, but this is not original.

The clasp has been discussed many times, some say it's good, others say it's bad.

      It's not an L/12
This clasp has been shown somewhere on WAF with an L/11 mark as well.

I don't like it, for me it's a pot-war clasp with a very recent envelope.

      Sorry...

      Best regards,
      Ben

        Spange

I agree with Ben and the prongs look to thick to be bent easily. Jim

I agree with Jim & Ben, too many negative points not including the even, black patina on the reverse that is in line with many bad pieces

Thanks for the comments, guys! Appreciate your input. Not really a problem - I got these in a trade with a couple of nice and legit items and he's very open to replacing any problems. Guess these guys are going home again!
