Leave it? Or clean it??

I was thinking of lacquring it. The same lacquer as they put on cars to seal it. I haven't done it yet because i'm still thinking of other solutions. I wouldn't think for a minute it would do it any harm and in theory it will seal it.

i agree, leave it as it is. You could buy another in better condition and display them together.
