    Yes my thin date matches your bottom one in the comparison . Indeed the top is a bit different .

      Both of yours do look the same, Douglas. Mine, I see differences still. Two different reverse core dies, IMO.

        That fits well ... 2 different reverse dies . ... the time span of use and the reverse die side wears a bit faster than the obverse side .
        As I will be able to show the thin core date is an early core .... but not the only core . After being informed by the professor and a long search - I finaly have found the other existing core of importance .
        Being late I can only post one picture for now for all to stare at .

        Both silver frame F Zimmermann frames : 21.5 grams!
        with a lose thin date core on the left - and a filed frame corners - UB core on the right . Both have the same reverse date type !
        More when I get back late tomorrow .
