Hmm! Sorry but a post-war made cross "by" Fredrich Orth "for" MR. Floch in a properly Fredrich Orth carton but the wrong type of case IMO.

              Best regards

I have had this EKI marked L15 and it was a Floch regarding the WAF people

Post a picture of the markings on my old EKI

Mixed feelings it seems regarding the L15 mark again.

What is it you think is wrong with the case Martin.

                      Hi Darobs!
Nothing wrong with the case just that it is the wrong type for Orth as IMO used the vaulted fully detail stencilled type of case.

                      Best regards

                        No worries-thanks Martin

Earlier WAF thread re: case & carton.

                        http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=205039

Also read somewhere that the black inner of the case was significant of the cross being awarded posthumously.

Not sure if there is any truth to that.

In the thread you show, it looks like it's the same carton and case as in this thread and someone has added the L15 cross. I stand by my earlier statement about the case.

                          Best regards

                            Thought had crossed my mind.

Again it's the whole uncertainty that frequently points to this mark.
