Spanish cross in bronze w/swords, help please!

Hello all. I have attached some images of a Spanish Cross that I have some concerns about. I cannot find a similar example in any reference book that I have access to. There does not appear to be one out there with the same sort of hinge and retaining pin set up. I hope the images are clear enough to draw some constructive opinion! Many thanks in advance.....

    Hello,
Yes. you are right to have concerns about this Spanish Cross, known as the "Juncker Fake", more common to see in silver.
    Cheers,
    Shaneos

      Hello Gruppenfuhrer01,
Yes indeed, the old 'Juncker Fake" strikes again. Note the lack of 'pebbling' and the three seperate tail stripes,
      Best Regards,
      Michael

I am not so sure about that at all, it looks like a Schickel with Zimmerman set up to me. odd yes, but I would like better pics. I have never seen this called the Junker fake before. I think it is probably good.

          Hello Gruppenfuhrer01,
Sorry, I may have looked at it too quickly, Yes, Sal Williams is correct,
It appears to be one of these "unknown Maker" crosses that some people believe are authentic,
          Best Regards,
          Michael

Personally I would grab it if it was a good price

It's a nice and not commonly found zimmermann L/52

I disagree, those are not Zimmermann eagles. Looks like Schickle with a Zimmermann reverse. Didn't Schickle loose thier licence or some such? Maybe Zimmermann bought the crosses and put their hardware on em? Or Schickle bought hardware from Zimmermann?

                  Hi ,
                  Original cross in my opinion.
Zimmerman production with otto Schickle spare parts (eagles).

                  Nice finish

                  regards
