                  this EKI Deumer type came out always flat from the factory but I like very much the hand vaulted like your if I understan correctly.
                  Maybe in past I have had one vaulted, actually I have 4 Deumers but all are flat.

                        A nice authentic piece and it does appear as it's been hand vaulted. You can see the frame lifting off the core adjacent to the swas.

                              I believe it gave them better contact with the uniform and subsequently stopped them from flopping around.
