The Oak Leaves preliminary award document to Fregattenkapitän Heinrich Lehmann-Willenbrock can be seen at the Internationales Maritimes Museum Hamburg. It was awarded to him on on 31 December 1941 as Kapitänleutnant and commander of U-96.

I've read somewhere that Regeniter only found out he was awarded the RK in the 1960s and he was presented with a 57 RK. So I'm guessing that's not his wartime piece..
