This strange example of Luth's Swords were sold by A. Thies on the last auction. According to the family of the famous U-boot ace, this set was a field edition of the diamonds (given to him on August 9th, 1943). This probably was made by Luth himself after receiving the news of the diamonds award, on board his submarine.
More pics of this strange Godet piece.

And a photo of Korvettenkapitän Karl-Friedrich Brill, who was killed in action when the Minenschiff "Juminda" was sunk on 22 October 1943 west of Porto Santo Stefano by three American torpedo boats.

He was posthomously awarded the Oak Leaves on 18 November 1943.

RK awarded to SS-Brigadeführer Gustav Lombard
                            Kommandeur SS-Reiter-Regiment 1 / SS-Kavallerie-Division / 2. Panzer-Armee / Heeresgruppe Mitte
                            Awarded on: March 10th, 1943

This cross belongs to WAF member stefan_swe.

Lombard's group ended up in Sweden after being sold by Weitze. The DKiG went other way.
