This one just got in from Germany.
It's a special "award" for a handful of kc winners in the Demjansk pocket
(one of approx. 10 awarded).
The size is 21.8 (h) , and 10.6 width.

I hope the size of the pics is ok.

I have a RK winner's RK & document group from the Demjansk Pocket (Karl-Heinz Becker -290th Inf.Div) & have not seen one of these (not that that is of any assistance to you ) -is it named?

This "decoration" was awarded to:
Leutnant Horst Naumann
Born: 13.12.1921 in Berlin
RK: 04.01.1943
als Geschützführer 3./SturmGeschAbt 184

The "überlassungsurkunde" (From Naumann to the collector he sold it to), which accompanied this piece, describes the piece and it's story.
On the reverse are a picture of the front and the back of this piece.
It was sold by Horst Naumann to a collector in september 1993.
BNoth back and front are signed by Horst Naumann.
There's also a reprint (signed) b&w pic of Horst Naumann receiving the kc.

The "Erinnurungsplatte" is made of "Böttgersteinzug" and is made by MEISSEN.
( nr: R202, 18.09.1942)


This "decoration" was awarded to Naumann on 09.01.43 ( so shortly after he received his kc) by Generalleutnant Höhne.
According to Naumann not all kc reciepients got this special "decoration", to the best of his knowledge there where about 10 awardedin .
There was no document with this award.

The small number of decorations made me wonder if there is another on like this in collections of other forum members.

Well, I must say that I'd expected more response to this one....

But, on the other hand, no one has stated that it's a fake so far..
