What intrigues me is that the name Kohler is written with an ¨ on the Formal document while his name is written without an ¨.

Maybe some of the experienced collectors can shine in.

I agree....looks just as kevis said ,a special made ruse for 40 of the tens of thousands of iggerant suckers out there . SO.....Why tip em off , but what would be interesting to know, is, the true identity of the consigner ....as I would bet you dollars to doughnuts ,THAT reveal ,might just suprise many here. (I'm sure I would expect any name given would be an alias or they would use someone else to hide the TRUE owners identity , in attempt to avoid embarrassment of being found out.

My hypothetical question now is: If it were someone here who was a WAF member,or participant, should they be banned for such a play, if found to have hatched such a scam to deceive ?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean as English isn't my mother tongue but it seems you impute something to me. If you think that I'm working hand-in-hand with the seller you are absolutely wrong. I've never talked to him. I don't even know what real name is behind his (militaria321 & WAF) name "pors12".
I just ran into this auction and thought many guys would be interested in that document. That it turns out to be fake now isn't my fault.

But why don't you ask him himself here as he already responded to this thread in #14?

You did misunderstand Oberbootsman, I was not referring to you at all. I should have specified I was not implicating you as part of any scam. In fact you should be praised for bringing it to collectors attention here, you rescued someone who would have been stung , and i hope the sale is quashed and that the word gets around and backfires.

We are all upset If any item is being auctioned as an original, to decieve collectors for substantial moola, and being as widely read as this forum is , My own opinion is it is highly likely the seller may be a member, and ex member banned, or an anoymous viewer , and I understand now he is participating on the thread and appears to me to be shilling it.(but is not oberbootsman)

I wonder what the guy who has the site that sells the fakes famous name mappes on that link would say , if he were asked who the person name was who had this mappe comissioned as a custom order with that name?.

To offer this as an original on any venue to deceive is just despicable ..

you either come up with some solid reasons and facts why this Mappe is a fake and why the seller is a in your opinion a crook or I kindly have to aks you to stop posting unfounded allegations (which seems to be nonsense IMHO).

I admire your possibility to see and positively recognize a fake just with the pictures at hand! A rare feat indeed!

By the way, this document was sold by Weitze and since it can be traced as such, he would also need to take it back in case your expertise, Juoneen, is correct. Not to mention that the current seller gives a 31 day return.

So please, no innuendos, no assumptions without at least some proof. "Fess up or Shut up" as they say.

First of all, I have to say that in my entire live nobody
who even dose not know me did name me a "crook".

I have no problem with a discussion on an item I am selling.
But the way Mr. Juoneen did is not the right way (IMHO).

Here in good old europe we have some "social graces" and
I think these manners should also be used here on WAF.

This is a forum you can post links to live auctions, I'm sure a lot of us saw this pop up on 321.

Mostly hanging out in the 'Imperial section' and there it's not ok to post links to active auctions. Better ask the mods there why.
