NO MM on ring of EK2

I have had this EK2 for about 15 years. I cannot find a number on the split ring. There is a letter o on the top part of the cross itself ( the side with 1813) The o is right relow the main ring of the cross it stamped into the siver part of the cross. Is this o the maker mark or does mine not have one and what does the o mean?........curious if I have bought a fake or the o is the maker mark.......thanks

I know of an EK1 with that mark on the top arm, is it for location of the suspension ring and is it common to find these on EK1's

Its not a maker mark. Its a center mark to help workers placing the ring.

              Cheers.

Dont worry though, 1939 EKIIs without maker markes are more common than those with maker marks IMHO, so just because it is not marked, there is no need take that as a sign of a fake.
