Unmarked KVK1 authentic?

I'm not familiar with these enough to make a determination. It is well made and looks good, but is this an original period piece? And if so, does anyone know the maker?

My thoughts as well - defo post war pin/hinge set up if I'm not wrong.

Thanks guys, I was leaning in that direction myself. The pin just didn't seem right to me.
