      Thanks gents. My remarks re. the L58 marking (on a "Souval" RK) would be spurious only due to the fact that they never made them pre '45. On an EK II or EK1, no issue. My question only concerned the post-war example that I have, or others I've seen. Thx again!

        I'll toss this in (just for the fun of it): The frame used by Souval for its postwar crosses is the same frame used to make the "Sedlatzek cross" (a wartime cross) shown in Dietrich's book.
