    WWII Era Imperial

Hi all. Typically I split time between here and the Imperial section as all 4 of the battle period series of EKs are part of my interest. I nabbed this one and thought I would share though. I had actually thought it was an AWS Imperial EKI SB.

I was, however, incorrect. This is actually a Juncker made TR era Imperial cross with Juncker's famous frame. The quality is all there and the core is wonderful. It's my first 3 piece SB of any era so i'm very excited about that as well. Overall it's a gem of a cross and right up my alley as it crosses both imperial with the core, but from my favorite WWII maker. Just another tally showing that these firms had some sort of arrangement!

And the 3 pieces apart! Hope you all enjoy this one as I do. All comments are welcome.

Very nice cross! Looks Juncker to me. Is it vaulted form and does the core magnetic?

Very nice and a piece not easy to find !
I think it 's an AWS/Juncker EK but looks to me that it don't show a Juncker frame. If it is, what the type is it ?

          Thanks for the comments guys!

Stuka, yes, it is magnetic and is also vaulted!

@Fabri: ya, when I first saw it, my gut reaction was AWS. I had sat on it for a while, knowing it was there but trying to raise funds for it. I had shown Trev this piece during that period of waiting. He suggested it was Juncker made with the famous crunch bead frame. I determine my AWS crosses simply by the crown of the core (It's distinctive enough to me that I can pick them out well) and so I had never paid the frame any mind, I just looked at the core and said "AWS".

Although, we know or strongly suspect a working relationship between Juncker and AWS. Either way, I like it an awful lot.

Whats your opinion or ideas? They are always welcome bud

Thanks Ryan for your reply, I too think that it 's a Juncker assembly just the frame is not clear in this pic. Surely Trevor sayd correct but maybe can you show a pic of the inner corners to let me see details with my eyes ?

I'm off to work Fabri but I will be getting some pics of my own. I will make sure to get a couple close ups of the inner beading for ya and post here
