The true early ones should weigh in at around 31g as opposed to the 34.5 (ish) of the L/12 and "2"....can the postees confirm these weights please ?

Yes you're right Chris. Early ones should be lighter then the later ones. My one weighs 30.65 grams and that is with the loop. Without the loop it is only 29.34 grams.
