Reflections on Deumer clasps

Hi Seba!

I think I sent a set of these PICS to you a year or so ago, but here's a composite of my Deumer w/pkt. Both the spange and packet are marked and resemble the one you have.

I have never seen a Deumer with scalloped edges before either and don't know what to say. The "quality" is definitely there, though the eagle's head is sure "different"! I must be missing something as the head appears different IMO from the one shown by Richard Gordon. His appears to me missing that--look?

That's right, I forgot about that! Seems that my memory lost some stuff too when I lost my hard drive awhile back.

A second look at Gordon's and it may be the same, just angles and shadows that make the details appear different in the photos.
