            Joking aside, I think that NOBODY in the 3rd Reich Army would pose with a 1914 EK2 for an 'official' picture. This would have had serious consequences. Ergo, I think that this looks very much like a Schinkel piece. Thanks for posting, Allan!

              It's interesting to note that it appears to have the small loop usually found on medals on a medal bar as well.

                I suppose it was a serious breach of protocol to wear someone elses medal! In the US military it is generally frowned upon to wear medals you have not earned!

                I'm new, I can you tell it is a schinkle from such a blurry picture?
