R-3 with Deschler Packet and Some Others

    Hi

I did not know Deschler was a possible maker of R 3s ?

This one came from the same source and I do believe they are a pair.

You can never go wrong with W&L , I am starting to think they are still in business making these EKs

    Another R 3 also today.

    Best,
    Dion

            Thanks Jim

Thats how out of the loop I am. I thought all R 3s were unknown makers

            I need more books.

Hey Ben! Try to stuff your brain with everything from Hitlers underwear to combat badges and then we will talk lol.

Actually I thank you because most I have learned on clasps and crosses comes from you and George, with RKs Dietrich is the man and Kane helped me a lot. I am not the sharpest knife in the block but I would say 90% of whats left is TR.

                Cheers,
                Dion

Actually I am not in so much danger from crosses anymore thanks to the whole crew, thats Trevor , Stefan and so many more. The world experts on the EK lie in here without a doubt!

                    Hi Dion,

In my opinion Deschler made two types of Round 3's:
                    1. Prototype or B-Type (so-called "Schinkel B")
                    2. Regular Deschler frame (shown by Jim CMSgt above)

You have found two very nice Round-3's, but I don't know for sure that either one is by Deschler. Many, many collectors believe these are Deschlers, and have joined them to Deschler packets.

Do these come from a collector, or "out of the woodwork"?
                    Best regards,
                    Streptile

                      trev,,woodwork.

the packeted deschler is from a different source as the other R 3.

The packeted one is what I used to call the thick R 3. I had no idea it was made by Deschler.

I was not trying to say both were manufactured by Deschler.
