Hello all, I have an EKII with a (R) looks like? for a maker mark. Please see if you can tell what this maker mark is thanks. Mick

(R) for "Rudolf" Wachtler & Lange.....? I've never seen one like this before. Mick

I have never heard of an 'R' mark. It sound like it could be a mis-stamping.

Any chance of a close up of said mark?

if that is the makers mark it's all wrong. But it could be the place where they soldered the ring together.

I think we need better scans to say anything helpful. Photos would be best -- good, big, crisp daylight macro photos.

For me its a typical W&L but i would like to see the stamp on the ring

The band ring is replaced. The original ring is smaller than replacement ring.
