My opinion is that it is an overpriced repro. Notice that the seller is not even guaranteeing that it is real (at least he's honest about it). Genuine ones go for much more than that- closer to $700, so the price alone should tell you something. All of the other items this seller has are overpriced fantasy/repro crap. Compare to originals on this forum (search). If you want genuine items, look at the E-Stand section of this site, or stick to reputable dealers- not IOffer.

Sorry to get in late, but fake, very few Schickles were marked and the mark doesn't match this one nor does the spange come close. Jim
