Thank you I hop everyone enjoys the Christmas season! We are all very blessed to be able to enjoy such an exciting hobby!

This is my first example as I received an early Christmas present I'm reading Dietrich Maerz excellent book on the Knights Crosses. He also does an super job with the formal authentication/documentation. Very professional and makes the hobby interesting. Thank you..........

Is your catch soldered directly to the cross or soldered to a backplate? This picture is a lightweight cross with the catch soldered to a backplate. A heavyweight would have its catch soldered directly to it. And also, of course, the weight differences as well.

Ah I see my example is a lightweight type. Just like yours.
