Rule of thumb ... be VERY leary of ANYTHING marked L15 .....

I agree on the first cross, it's a one-piece fake, but IMO the second L15 is authentic.

i got mine through a collecting-buddy who got it directly from the family of the recipient.

It has a different core and longer pin then the floch-fakes.

My suspicions stem from an article appeared on an Italian magazine, says that the attack on the pin at the base should have an oval sign, a typical manufacturer's L15, unless I have misread ...

I'd like to know precisely what makes you think that the cross is genuine or not.

I collect mainly Italian material and would like to learn more with your help.

Seems to me that I have read somewhere on the forum that on a genuine L15 cross the end of the pin curves upward.
